Brooke aka CH. Quantrels Ramblin’ Brooke, RAE, CD-H, CGC, RL1, RL2, ARCH – Brooke is my princess.  She is my first ‘show’ dog.  When researching breeders I was originally looking for a ‘pet’ or companion.  My conception of the show dog was one that was constantly on the road and away from home, which would not work for me since my dogs are a significant part of my family.  A very nice woman set me straight and told me I could work with the breeder’s schedule and show when it was convenient for me.  When I got Brooke from Nadine, I agreed to try showing and if it didn’t work out we just would stop.  Little did I know I would be hooked!  In the beginning of her career, Brooke won Best Bitch in Futurity at the WCA Nationals in 2003!  This is a significant honor and we were thrilled!  Once Brooke obtained her Championship, we retired her from Confirmation and began pursuing other competitive dog sports.  We began with Rally, which I really enjoy, and have expanded onto Obedience.  It’s hard to believe but Brooke is now old enough to compete in the Veterans class so we enter her in Sweepstakes when we can.  She still loves to show.  Brooke also occasionally enjoys a modeling career.
