Warning Xmas Puzzle Spoilers below!!!!

The 2005 Ostrander Year in Review

By Scott, Michelle, Shelby, Buster, Brooke, Calvin, and Sharon

This year we got a little scrambled with all that’s been going on.  See if you can unscramble our events for this years puzzle.

Well it’s been an interesting year for the Ostrander family.

Scott’s poker career has continued to flourish, taking a 17th place at the Men’s Expo in Morristown and a 16th at the Taj.  Although he hasn’t won any major tournaments he did take a 2nd by beating the old folks in FLORIDA.

Due to the strike we didn’t go see a HOCKEY game in the 2005 season, Scott’s dad was a bit disappointed.  We did get to see the YANKEES in the playoffs, which also seems like a yearly thing.

At the end of the summer we attended a TENNIS tournament.  We’ve been going for years but this time it didn’t rain.  Can you believe it??

In order to hold all 3 pups comfortably and get around to the dog shows, Michelle purchased an EXPLORER to carry them in. The investment paid off because the puppies were active this year and both Brooke and Sharon became CHAMPIONS in September.

We survived the seven year itch when we celebrated our ANNIVERSARY in October.

There have been a lot of changes to the house this year due to all the CONSTRUCTION.  It’s been a messy process but we hope it will be worth all the inconvenience in the end.  Since we don’t have a kitchen, Michelle will not be able to make her holiday COOKIES that she normally bakes each year.

We finally made it back to the happiest place on earth in December.  Yes, we went to DINSEY to get away from some of the cold weather here.  We had a great time and even got to fly back with Regis Philbin on the way home.  And that’s my final answer!!!

Hope you enjoyed our quick recap of 2005 and you are correct with all your final answers.  If you need some help, check the website at www.theostranders.com for this year’s answers.

It’s been a challenging year but I’m sure things will be back to normal in 2006.  We’re looking forward to a whole new year of surprises and change.
